The Process
Five steps from first conversation to live — whether it’s a full system, an integration, or a website. No surprises, no scope creep, no disappearing for weeks.
-
01
Initial chat
We talk through what you actually need — not just what you think you need. Often the real problem is different from the stated one. No commitment, no sales pitch.
-
02
Scope & proposal
A fixed-price proposal with clear deliverables. You know exactly what you’re getting and what it costs before any work starts.
-
03
Build in preview
Everything is built on a test version of your site first. You can review the work, request changes, and see exactly how it behaves before anything goes live. That test version stays available after launch — use it any time to try out new content or changes before they go live. Search engines never see it.
-
04
Test & approve
You sign off on the finished build. Security checks, performance testing, and any final adjustments happen here. Nothing goes live without your approval.
-
05
Go live
Going live is handled end to end — hosting, secure connections, and any integrations switched over to live data. You don't need to touch any of it. It goes live cleanly, and you get confirmation when it's done.
Payment
Staged payments tied to progress, not time spent — a simple 25 / 50 / 25 split across agreement, preview, and launch.
On agreement
Deposit to confirm the project and begin work. Covers initial scoping and setup.
At preview
Due when the build is ready for you to review privately on your preview site, before anything goes live.
On go-live
Final payment on launch. Nothing goes live until you're satisfied with the result.
What it costs
Systems and integrations are scoped and quoted per project. Websites are fixed-price from the tiers below. Either way you get a quote for a defined outcome before any work starts — 6 months’ hosting included on all new builds.
Business systems & integrations
Connecting your accounting, customer records, quoting and payments — or building a bespoke internal system around how you actually work. Scoped to your needs and quoted as a fixed price for a defined outcome.

- You want to stay out of the technical detail
- You care about security and reliability, not just how it looks
This is not for you if…
- You want a brochure site or a template build
- You want to DIY it but have someone else finish it off
- You’re looking for the cheapest option
- You need a very quick turnaround with no review process
Common questions
How do you price a project?
Websites are fixed-price from £1,200 + VAT. Business systems and integrations are scoped and quoted per project — a fixed price for a defined outcome, agreed before any work starts. No hourly billing and no scope creep.
How are payments structured?
Staged against progress, not time spent — a simple 25 / 50 / 25 split: 25% on agreement, 50% when the build is ready to review on your private preview site, and 25% on go-live.
Can I see the work before it goes live?
Yes. Everything is built on a private preview version of your site first, so you can review it and request changes before launch. Search engines never see it, and it stays available afterwards to try changes safely.
How long does a project take?
Websites are typically 2–3 weeks (standard), 3–4 weeks (self-manage), or 4–6 weeks (ecommerce). Systems and integrations depend on scope and are timelined in the proposal.
What's included with a new build?
First-year hosting is included on every new build, along with a contact form, domain and business email, and security and performance set up properly from the start.
Want to know how it’s built?
The technical side — platform, security scanning, email authentication, automated updates, monitoring, and hosting — explained in plain English with the detail there if you want it.
